Fish, anchovy, european, canned in oil, drained solids
1.0  x  1 can (2 oz) (45g)
Garlic, raw
4.0  x  1 clove (3g)
Lemon juice, raw
1.0  x  1 lemon yields (47g)
Lettuce, cos or romaine, raw
1.0  x  1 head (626g)
Oil, olive, salad or cooking
1.0  x  1 cup (216g)
Sauce, ready-to-serve, pepper, TABASCO
2.0  x  1 tsp (4g)
Sauce, Worcestershire
2.0  x  1 tbsp (17g)
Spices, pepper, white
0.5  x  1 tsp, ground (2g)

Preparation

Put all ingredients except lettuce and cheese into blender and blend well for dressing. Break up Romaine lettuce as desired. Put dressing on lettuce and top with parmesan cheese. Classic Caesar salad is only lettuce, but I like tomatoes etc. on mine often. Serve with hot or cold chicken, fish, beef or anything you like. Lettuce should always be cold; crisp and fresh.
