One of my interests
the past 25 years is the wonderful, mostly naive, art that comes to us from the
little nation of Haiti. Haiti, who is as poor and troubled as anywhere on
earth, has found a precious resource in the creativity of many of its citizens
who suffer mightily everyday. I will develop this more as time passes, as it is
a giant area of art and growing interest in the world.
Manger Scene a wonderfully naive painting by the first generation master painter, Wilson Bigaud, I used on my book cover for "Roi Shepherd King's Dog."
More of this wonderful art to follow.
